Praise for The Eye of the Storm:

Dear Mr. Hutchinson,

I like how you teach the reader by using a simple word. Such as perseverance and ask a question that makes people think of what they do to contribute to the world. I'm p lanning to help the world by making a movie. To teach children different character traits. They need to help them in life (I'll do this when I'm older).
Your book has taught me to not give up. To take responsibility. To make goals and fix mistakes I made in the past.
Your Reader,
Cindy, Grade 6 Student

Dear Mr. Hutchinson,

Your book has made me realize how and when it's the right time to take responsibility, not just apologizing but finishing homework chores and etc. Your book also gave me the strength to continue in my situation, to solve it until the end (never say "die").
Thank you for writing this book!!!!!!!!!
Respectfully, your fan,
Sanjot, Grade 6 Student

Dear Mr. Hutchinson,

I like how you describe the characters and introduce them slowly instead of all at once. It's cool how you describe the beauty and the power of nature. At the end of chapter ten it's sort of spooky how you describe the night and the wolf howls. It’s smart how you write about stuff kids can relate to. Like how Johnny feels when Franklin is bullying him because everyone is bullied sometimes. I like how you connect Johnny having to bandage his dog's leg. Then he saved the world with his first aid skills. The illustrations are great! I like how they give you a little clue of what is going to happen. The book is suspenseful as I have already said. I just can't put it down!
Yours truly,
Megan, Grade 6 Student

Praise for On The Fringes:
I just read your first book and loved it! The cover doesn't give justice to your work though, it makes it look like a kinda thriller involving secret services and massive destruction, Ludlum-like, fast-paced and pro-America... But your story goes far beyond that, and I appreciated the spiritual aspects of it too.

Thanks and I hope to read you again soon,
S. B. Quebec

Well I finished the book...and I loved it!
I especially enjoyed all the philosophy of the last few chapters. It was an amazing book! The detail describing the paintings and feelings of people were incredible...so insightful and touched me deeply in a way I can't describe. I am in awe of how feelings and emotions were portrayed in the book, I really felt connected to the characters. I've encouraged a few of my friends here to read the book too, so now it in circulation around the staff here.
